Samsung Galaxy Note8 is a little bit better than LG G8X ThinQ, having a overall score of 83 against 82.7. These phones come with Android OS (operating system), but the Samsung Galaxy Note8 has a more recent 9.0 Pie version and LG G8X ThinQ has Android 10. Even though Samsung Galaxy Note8 is a better phone than the LG G8X ThinQ, it must be told that it's also a notably older, a bit heavier and just a little bit thicker phone.
LG G8X ThinQ counts with just a little better hardware performance than Galaxy Note8. Both have a Octa-Core processor and a 6 GB RAM memory. The Galaxy Note8 has a little more vivid display than LG G8X ThinQ, because although it has a little smaller display, it also counts with a higher 1440 x 2960 resolution and a higher quantity of pixels per inch of screen.
The LG G8X ThinQ has a way bigger storage to store more apps and games than Galaxy Note8, because it has 64 GB more internal storage and a slot for SD memory cards that admits a maximum of 1,95 TB. The LG G8X ThinQ counts with superior battery life than Galaxy Note8, because it has a 4000mAh battery size against 3300mAh.
LG G8X ThinQ features just a bit better camera than Samsung Galaxy Note8, because although it has a tinier aperture which is not so good for low light photos and video, and they both have a same size sensor, a back-facing camera with a 12 MP resolution and the same video resolution, the LG G8X ThinQ also counts with faster video frame rates.
Although Samsung Galaxy Note8 is a better device, it is way more expensive than the LG G8X ThinQ, and it doesn't have such a good price and quality relation as LG G8X ThinQ. If you want to save some money, you can get LG G8X ThinQ, giving up some specs and features, but you'll get the most out of your budget.
