Galaxy S22 Ultra has a general score of 95.4, which is better than LG G8X ThinQ's 82.7 score. These phones include Android operating system, but the Galaxy S22 Ultra has a more recent 13 version and LG G8X ThinQ has Android 10, giving you some nice extra features. Even though Galaxy S22 Ultra is much newer than the LG G8X ThinQ, it is heavier and a bit thicker.
Galaxy S22 Ultra has a lot better looking display than LG G8X ThinQ, because it has a little bit more pixels per screen inch, a little bigger display and a better 1440 x 3088 resolution. The LG G8X ThinQ has a much better storage for applications and games than Samsung Galaxy S22 Ultra, and although they both have the same internal storage capacity, the LG G8X ThinQ also has a slot for an external memory card that allows up to 1,95 TB.
LG G8X ThinQ counts with a little bit better performance than Galaxy S22 Ultra, although it has 2 GB less RAM memory, they both have a Octa-Core processor. Samsung Galaxy S22 Ultra features greater battery performance than LG G8X ThinQ, because it has a 25 percent bigger battery capacity. Samsung Galaxy S22 Ultra captures way better videos and photos than LG G8X ThinQ, and although they both have a F1.8 aperture, the Samsung Galaxy S22 Ultra also has a camera in the back with a lot higher 108 megapixels resolution, a lot higher video resolution and a way bigger back camera sensor capturing way better quality photographs.
Although Galaxy S22 Ultra is a better device, it is a lot more expensive than LG G8X ThinQ, and it doesn't have such a good relation between it's price and quality as LG G8X ThinQ. If you want to save a few dollars, you can get the LG G8X ThinQ, giving up a few features and specs, but you'll get the most out of your budget.
