Comparison review
The Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 2 is much better than the LG G8X ThinQ, having a 94.6 score against 82.7. The Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 2 is a newer and somewhat thinner phone than LG G8X ThinQ, but it's also incredibly heavier. Both phones we are comparing come with Android OS, but the Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 2 has 11 version while LG G8X ThinQ has Android 10.
The LG G8X ThinQ has just a bit better display than Galaxy Z Fold 2, because although it has a little smaller screen and a lot worse resolution of 1080 x 2340, it also counts with a just a little more pixels per inch of display. The LG G8X ThinQ counts with a much better memory for applications and games than Galaxy Z Fold 2, because although it has just 128 GB internal memory capacity, it also counts with a SD memory card expansion slot that allows a maximum of 1,95 TB.
The Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 2 features a bit faster processing unit than LG G8X ThinQ, and although they both have 8 cpu cores, the Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 2 also has a greater amount of RAM memory. The Galaxy Z Fold 2 has a bit superior battery duration than LG G8X ThinQ, because it has a 4500mAh battery capacity.
Galaxy Z Fold 2 features just a bit better camera than LG G8X ThinQ, and although they both have a F1.8 aperture, the same 60 fps video frame rate, the same resolution back facing camera and the same 3840x2160 video resolution, the Galaxy Z Fold 2 also has a way larger back-facing camera sensor taking more light and vivid colors.
Although Galaxy Z Fold 2 is a better device, it is a lot more expensive than LG G8X ThinQ, and it doesn't have such a good relation between it's price and quality as the LG G8X ThinQ. So if you want that extra features and specs, you can buy Galaxy Z Fold 2, but if you don't you can save some dollars and get the LG G8X ThinQ, giving up a couple specs and features.
