Comparison review
The Sony Xperia 1 II is much better than LG G8X ThinQ, having a 91 score against 82.7. Both devices in this review have Android OS (operating system), but Sony Xperia 1 II has newer 11 version and LG G8X ThinQ has Android 10 version, providing some extra features. Although Sony Xperia 1 II and the LG G8X ThinQ were released with only 7 months difference, Sony Xperia 1 II is a bit thinner and a bit lighter.
The Xperia 1 II's CPU is very similar to the LG G8X ThinQ one, and although the Xperia 1 II has more RAM memory, they both have 8 cores. Xperia 1 II counts with a better looking screen than LG G8X ThinQ, because it has a way better 1644 x 3840 resolution, a much higher display pixel density and a bit larger screen.
Xperia 1 II has just a bit better camera than LG G8X ThinQ, and although they both have the same 60 frames per second video frame rate, a 12 megapixels camera in the back and the same video resolution, the Xperia 1 II also has a bigger camera aperture to capture better photos and videos in low-light environments and a lot larger back-facing camera sensor capturing much higher quality videos and photos.
The Sony Xperia 1 II has slightly more memory capacity for applications, games, photos and videos than LG G8X ThinQ, because although it has a SD card slot that holds up to 1000 GB against 1,95 TB, it also counts with 128 GB more internal storage. The LG G8X ThinQ and the Sony Xperia 1 II have similar batteries.
