LG G8X ThinQ has a score of 82.7, which is just a bit better than Xperia XZ Premium's 79.8 score. The LG G8X ThinQ design is way newer than Xperia XZ Premium's, although it's just a little thicker and just a bit heavier. LG G8X ThinQ counts with a bit superior CPU than Xperia XZ Premium, and although they both have 8 processing cores, the LG G8X ThinQ also has more RAM.
The Sony Xperia XZ Premium counts with an incredibly better looking display than LG G8X ThinQ, because although it has a little bit smaller display, it also counts with a much higher resolution of 2160 x 3840px and a much better screen pixels density. Xperia XZ Premium counts with a little bit better camera than LG G8X ThinQ, because although it has a tinier diafragm aperture which is not good for shooting photographs in poorly lited situations and worse 30 fps video frame rates, and they both have the same 3840x2160 video resolution, the Xperia XZ Premium also counts with a larger back camera sensor and a back facing camera with lot more megapixels.
LG G8X ThinQ counts with a much greater memory for apps and games than Sony Xperia XZ Premium, because it has more internal memory and a SD card slot that holds up to 1,95 TB. LG G8X ThinQ has better battery lifetime than Sony Xperia XZ Premium, because it has 4000mAh of battery capacity instead of 3230mAh.
