LG G8X ThinQ is just a bit better than the Xperia XZ2 Premium, having an 82.7 score against 82.2. The LG G8X ThinQ construction is newer, thinner and somewhat lighter than the Xperia XZ2 Premium. The Xperia XZ2 Premium's processor is just as good as the LG G8X ThinQ one, both of them have the same number of cores and the same RAM memory amount.

The Sony Xperia XZ2 Premium counts with an incredibly better looking display than LG G8X ThinQ, because although it has a little smaller screen, it also counts with a way higher 2160 x 3840 resolution and a lot more pixels per inch of screen. LG G8X ThinQ counts with a way bigger storage capacity to install applications and games than Xperia XZ2 Premium, because it has 64 GB more internal memory capacity and a SD memory card expansion slot that allows a maximum of 1,95 TB.

The Xperia XZ2 Premium takes clearer photographs and videos than LG G8X ThinQ, because although it has worse video frame rate, and they both have the same (4K) video definition and the same aperture, the Xperia XZ2 Premium also counts with a back camera with a much higher resolution and a larger back-facing camera sensor.

LG G8X ThinQ counts with a bit superior battery lifetime than Sony Xperia XZ2 Premium, because it has 4000mAh of battery capacity instead of 3540mAh.

Even being the best phone of the ones we are comparing, LG G8X ThinQ is also by far the cheapest one, making this phone a great choice.
