Comparison review
LG G8X ThinQ is slightly better than Xiaomi Mi 9 SE, getting a score of 82.7 against 81.4. Even being the best in this comparison, the LG G8X ThinQ construction is heavier and thicker than Xiaomi Mi 9 SE. Both phones in our current comparison include Android OS, but the LG G8X ThinQ has the previous 10 version while Xiaomi Mi 9 SE has Android 9.0 Pie.
LG G8X ThinQ has a little bit better performance than Xiaomi Mi 9 SE. Both of them have the same RAM memory amount and 8 CPU cores. Xiaomi Mi 9 SE has just a bit better looking display than LG G8X ThinQ, because although it has a quite smaller display, and they both have the same exact 1080 x 2340 resolution, the Xiaomi Mi 9 SE also counts with a quite higher pixels density.
The LG G8X ThinQ features a much greater memory for games and applications than Xiaomi Mi 9 SE, and although they both have exactly the same 128 GB internal memory, the LG G8X ThinQ also has a slot for SD memory cards that holds up to 1,95 TB. Xiaomi Mi 9 SE captures better videos and photos than LG G8X ThinQ, because although it has slower 30 frames per second video frame rate, and they both have the same camera aperture and the same (4K) video resolution, the Xiaomi Mi 9 SE also counts with a lot more megapixels back facing camera and a way larger camera sensor which provides a way higher image and video quality.
LG G8X ThinQ has improved battery life than Xiaomi Mi 9 SE, because it has 4000mAh of battery capacity.
