Galaxy S5 Plus is slightly better than the LG K50, getting a global score of 78.1 against 72.2. Both phones in this review work with Android OS (Operating System), but the Galaxy S5 Plus has the older 4.4.2 version while LG K50 has Android 9.0 Pie. Despite of the fact that Galaxy S5 Plus is extremely older than the LG K50, it's body is somewhat lighter and just a bit thinner.
The Galaxy S5 Plus has just a bit better hardware performance than LG K50, because although it has 4 less cpu cores and a smaller amount of RAM, it also counts with an additional GPU. The Galaxy S5 Plus counts with a much sharper screen than LG K50, because although it has a bit smaller screen, it also counts with much more pixels per inch of screen and a higher resolution of 1920 x 1080 pixels.
Samsung Galaxy S5 Plus captures a little bit better photographs and videos than LG K50, and although they both have a back camera with a 16 MP and the same aperture, the Samsung Galaxy S5 Plus also has a much better (4K) video definition and a larger sensor taking higher quality photos and videos.
LG K50 features a superior memory capacity to store more games and applications than Galaxy S5 Plus, because it has an external memory slot that supports up to 1,95 TB and more internal storage capacity. LG K50 features improved battery performance than Samsung Galaxy S5 Plus, because it has a 3500mAh battery capacity.
