Xperia 1 is much better than the LG K50, with a global score of 82.6 against 72.2. Although Xperia 1 and LG K50 were only released with a couple months difference, Xperia 1's body is a little bit heavier but also a little bit thinner. The Sony Xperia 1 counts with a bit faster processor than LG K50, and although they both have a Octa-Core processing unit, the Sony Xperia 1 also has more RAM.
The Xperia 1 counts with a much more vibrant display than LG K50, because it has a little larger display, a much higher resolution of 1644 x 3840px and a much higher screen pixels density. The Sony Xperia 1 counts with a bit better camera than LG K50, because although it has a back camera with lot less megapixels resolution, it also counts with a larger back camera sensor providing a better image quality, a much better 3840x2160 video resolution and a much bigger aperture to capture better images and videos in poorly lited environments.
The Sony Xperia 1 counts with a bigger memory to install applications and games or saving photos and videos than LG K50, because although it has an external memory card slot that supports 1,45 TB smaller, it also counts with 96 GB more internal storage. LG K50 counts with a bit better battery lifetime than Xperia 1, because it has 3500mAh of battery capacity instead of 3330mAh.
