Comparison review
Galaxy Note8 has a score of 83, which is much better than LG K51S's 74.3 general score. Although it's the best phone in this review, Galaxy Note8 is a way older, a bit thicker and just a bit heavier phone than LG K51S. Both phones we are comparing here work with Android OS (operating system), but Galaxy Note8 has a more recent 9.0 Pie version and LG K51S has Android 10, so it counts with a couple nice extra features.
The Samsung Galaxy Note8 counts with a better looking display than LG K51S, because although it has a bit smaller display, it also counts with a much better pixels quantity per inch in the screen and a way higher resolution of 1440 x 2960 pixels. Samsung Galaxy Note8 features just a bit better performance than LG K51S, and although they both have the same number of cores, the Samsung Galaxy Note8 also has 3 GB more RAM memory.
The Samsung Galaxy Note8 takes a little bit better pictures and videos than LG K51S, because although it has a way worse 12 megapixels resolution back-facing camera, it also counts with a way better video resolution. LG K51S features a much better storage for apps and games than Samsung Galaxy Note8, and although they both have the same internal storage, the LG K51S also has a slot for an SD memory card that admits up to 2 TB.
The LG K51S counts with greater battery life than Galaxy Note8, because it has a 21 percent greater battery size.
Although Samsung Galaxy Note8 is a better device, it costs a lot more than LG K51S, and it doesn't have such a good price and quality relation as LG K51S. If you want to save some dollars, you can buy the LG K51S, and give up some specs and features, but you will get the most with your savings.
