Comparison review
The Xiaomi Redmi Note 9 has a general score of 76.6, which is a little bit better than the LG K51S's 74.3 general score. Although it's the best in this comparison review, the Xiaomi Redmi Note 9 is a just a bit heavier and just a little bit thicker cellphone than the LG K51S. Both of these phones work with the same Android 10 operating system, so both should offer identical operating system features.
The LG K51S has a bit faster processing unit than Xiaomi Redmi Note 9. Both of them have a 3 GB RAM memory and 8 processing cores. Xiaomi Redmi Note 9 counts with a slightly better looking display than LG K51S, and although they both have a screen with the same size, the Xiaomi Redmi Note 9 also has a greater pixel density and a much higher 1080 x 2340 pixels resolution.
The LG K51S features a much bigger storage capacity for games and applications than Xiaomi Redmi Note 9, and although they both have equal internal storage, the LG K51S also has a SD memory card expansion slot that allows a maximum of 2 TB. The Xiaomi Redmi Note 9 counts with improved battery performance than LG K51S, because it has 5020mAh of battery capacity.
Xiaomi Redmi Note 9 features a lot better camera than LG K51S, and although they both have the same video quality and the same 30 fps video frame rates, the Xiaomi Redmi Note 9 also has a way higher resolution back-facing camera.
Although Xiaomi Redmi Note 9 is a better device, it is a lot more expensive than LG K51S, and it doesn't have such a good quality/price relation as LG K51S. So if you need that extra features and specs, you can buy the Xiaomi Redmi Note 9, otherwise you can save some money and buy the LG K51S, resigning a couple specifications.
