The Samsung Champ is slightly better than LG Octane, getting a general score of 37.4 against 34.7. Even though Samsung Champ and LG Octane were released only a couple of months apart, Samsung Champ is noticeably lighter and thinner. Samsung Champ counts with a little bit better looking display than LG Octane, and although they both have exactly the same resolution of 320 x 240px, the Samsung Champ also has a higher screen density.

Samsung Champ's processor is just as good as the LG Octane one, both of them have a 0-Core CPU. The LG Octane counts with a much better camera than Samsung Champ, because it has a back camera with a lot higher resolution.
