The Samsung SGH-Z400 has a score of 37.1, which is a bit better than the LG Octane's general score of 34.7. Despite of the fact the Samsung SGH-Z400 is much older and somewhat thicker than LG Octane, it's construction is still somewhat lighter. The Samsung SGH-Z400 has a brighter screen than LG Octane, and although they both have the same exact 320 x 240 resolution, the Samsung SGH-Z400 also has a much higher pixel number per inch of screen.

The LG Octane and the Samsung SGH-Z400 feature extremely similar processing units, both of them have the same number of cores.
