Comparison review

The Samsung Galaxy S III is a little bit better than LG Optimus G, getting a score of 70 against 66. These phones use Android OS, but the Samsung Galaxy S III has newer 4.3 version and LG Optimus G has Android 4.1.2 version. Samsung Galaxy S III's body is a little thicker but just a little lighter than the LG Optimus G, and both of them were released with only a couple of months difference.

LG Optimus G features just a bit better hardware performance than Samsung Galaxy S III, and although they both have 2 GB of RAM and a 400 megahertz graphics processor, the LG Optimus G also has 2 more 1500 MHz cpu cores. LG Optimus G counts with a bit better display than Samsung Galaxy S III, because although it has a little smaller screen, it also counts with a just a little greater pixel density and a bit higher 1280 x 768 resolution.

The Galaxy S III features a very superior camera than LG Optimus G, although it has a back camera with much less megapixels resolution and a worse 1920x1080 (Full HD) video definition. The Galaxy S III counts with slightly more memory capacity for games and applications than LG Optimus G, because although it has 0 less internal memory capacity, it also counts with a slot for an external memory card that supports a maximum of 64 GB.

Galaxy S III and LG Optimus G have very similar battery performance.

Despite of being the best phone in our comparison, the Samsung Galaxy S III is also cheaper than the LG Optimus G, making this phone an easy choice.
