LG K40 is way better than LG Optimus L7 II, getting a global score of 69.8 against 55.2. The LG K40 is a noticeably newer and somewhat thinner cellphone than LG Optimus L7 II, but it's much heavier. These phones come with Android operating system, but the LG K40 has a more recent 8.1 Oreo version while LG Optimus L7 II has Android 4.1, so it provides you a couple nice extra features and performance improvements.

The LG K40 features a greater camera than LG Optimus L7 II, and although they both have the same resolution back-facing camera, the LG K40 also has a way higher (Full HD) video quality.
