LG Escape Plus has a score of 66.6, which is much better than the LG Optimus L9's 56.2 global score. The LG Escape Plus construction is much newer, noticeably lighter and just a little thinner than the LG Optimus L9. These phones use Android OS (operating system), but the LG Escape Plus has a newer 9.0 Pie version and LG Optimus L9 has Android 4.1.2 version, counting with a couple nice extra features.
The LG Escape Plus features a bit more powerful processing unit than LG Optimus L9, because although it has doesn't have an extra graphics co-processor, it also counts with a larger amount of RAM memory and a larger number of cores (and also faster). The LG Optimus L9 counts with a bit better looking screen than LG Escape Plus, although it has a quite smaller screen, a way worse 960 x 540 resolution and a little less pixels per display inch.
The LG Escape Plus features a very superior storage capacity for applications, games, photos and videos than LG Optimus L9, and although they both have a slot for an SD memory card that allows a maximum of 32 GB, the LG Escape Plus also has 28 GB more internal storage. The LG Escape Plus features a very superior battery performance than LG Optimus L9, because it has 3000mAh of battery capacity instead of 2150mAh.
The LG Escape Plus shoots way better photos and videos than LG Optimus L9, and although they both have the same (Full HD) video resolution and the same video frame rates, the LG Escape Plus also has a way more mega-pixels back facing camera.
The LG Escape Plus and the LG Optimus L9 cost the same, which makes this phone a very good choice.
