Galaxy A01 is slightly better than the LG Phoenix 5, having a global score of 71.6 against 67.4. Even though the Galaxy A01 and the LG Phoenix 5 were only released with a few months difference, Galaxy A01's design is a little thinner but a little bit heavier. Both phones in our current comparison use Android OS (Operating System), but the Galaxy A01 has a more recent 11 version and LG Phoenix 5 has Android 10 version, so it gives lots of additional features and performance optimizations.
LG Phoenix 5 and Samsung Galaxy A01 feature incredibly similar displays, they have an equal resolution of 720 x 1520px, the same pixels density and a same size display. The Galaxy A01 has a processor that's just as good as LG Phoenix 5's CPU, both have the same number of cores and the same RAM amount.
LG Phoenix 5 captures a little bit better photographs and videos than Galaxy A01, and although they both have the same (Full HD) video quality, the same resolution back facing camera and the same video frame rates, the LG Phoenix 5 also has a larger diafragm aperture and a larger camera sensor providing a higher image quality.
The Samsung Galaxy A01 features a lot bigger storage capacity to store more apps and games than LG Phoenix 5, and although they both have equal internal storage capacity, the Samsung Galaxy A01 also has a slot for external memory cards that admits a maximum of 512 GB. The Samsung Galaxy A01's battery performance is just as good as LG Phoenix 5's battery life.
Samsung Galaxy A01 costs exactly the same than the LG Phoenix 5, which makes this phone a simple decision.
