Galaxy J8 is slightly better than LG Q7, having a global score of 76.7 against 72.2. Both of these phones work with Android operating system, but the Galaxy J8 has older 10 version while LG Q7 has Android 8.1 Oreo version. Galaxy J8's design is just a bit thinner but somewhat heavier than the LG Q7, and they were released with only a few months difference.

The Galaxy J8 captures just a bit better photos and videos than LG Q7, and although they both have the same video frame rate and the same video resolution, the Galaxy J8 also has a back camera with a better resolution, a much bigger diafragm aperture and a bigger camera sensor which gives a higher image and video quality.
The Galaxy J8 features just a little better battery duration than LG Q7, because it has a 3500mAh battery capacity against 3000mAh.
