Galaxy XCover 5 is a bit better than LG Q7, having a 78.1 score against 72.2. Although the Galaxy XCover 5 is a lot newer than LG Q7, it is just a little bit thicker and heavier. Both of these phones work with Android operating system, but the Galaxy XCover 5 has the older 11 version and LG Q7 has Android 8.1 Oreo.
Galaxy XCover 5 features a little bit better hardware performance than LG Q7, and although they both have the same number of cores, the Galaxy XCover 5 also has a greater amount of RAM. LG Q7 has a little sharper screen than Samsung Galaxy XCover 5, because it has a bit larger display, a better pixel density and a much higher 1080 x 2160 resolution.

Galaxy XCover 5 has a way bigger storage capacity to install applications and games or saving photos and videos than LG Q7, because it has 64 GB internal memory and a SD card slot that holds a maximum of 1 TB.
The Galaxy XCover 5's battery life is very similar to the battery life in LG Q7.
