The Xiaomi Redmi 9T is just a bit better than the LG Q7, getting a global score of 78.2 against 72.2. Both devices in this review use Android OS, but the Xiaomi Redmi 9T has the older 10 version and LG Q7 has Android 8.1 Oreo. Xiaomi Redmi 9T's design is noticeably newer than the LG Q7's, but it is heavier and thicker.
The Xiaomi Redmi 9T features a little bit better hardware performance than LG Q7, and although they both have a Octa-Core processor, the Xiaomi Redmi 9T also has more RAM. The LG Q7 counts with a bit sharper display than Xiaomi Redmi 9T, because although it has a bit smaller display and a little bit worse resolution of 1080 x 2160, it also counts with a little more pixels per inch in the screen.
Xiaomi Redmi 9T features a superior storage for games and applications than LG Q7, because it has a slot for external memory cards that supports a maximum of 512 GB and 64 GB internal memory. The Xiaomi Redmi 9T counts with a better camera than LG Q7, and although they both have the same video frame rates and the same (Full HD) video quality, the Xiaomi Redmi 9T also has a way larger back-facing camera sensor providing a way higher image quality, a bigger camera aperture to take better low-light captures and videos and a lot more mega pixels back camera.
Xiaomi Redmi 9T has a much better battery life than LG Q7, because it has a 6000mAh battery capacity.
