Comparison review
The Microsoft Surface Duo 2 is a little bit better than the LG Q70, having a overall score of 85.3 against 77.9. The Microsoft Surface Duo 2 design is newer and incredibly thinner, but noticeably heavier than the LG Q70. Both phones in this comparison have Android OS (operating system), but Microsoft Surface Duo 2 has newer 11 version while LG Q70 has Android 10 version, giving you a couple nice extra features.
The Microsoft Surface Duo 2 features a little sharper screen than LG Q70, because although it has a bit less pixels per inch in the display, it also counts with a lot better resolution of 1892 x 2688 pixels and a bigger display. LG Q70 has a very superior memory for apps and games than Microsoft Surface Duo 2, because although it has only 64 GB internal memory capacity, it also counts with a slot for an external memory card that supports a maximum of 1,95 TB.
Microsoft Surface Duo 2 counts with just a little better hardware performance than LG Q70, and although they both have the same number of cores, the Microsoft Surface Duo 2 also has a higher amount of RAM. Microsoft Surface Duo 2 has just a bit longer battery lifetime than LG Q70, because it has a 4449mAh battery capacity.
LG Q70 takes clearer photos and videos than Microsoft Surface Duo 2, because although it has a smaller camera aperture and worse 30 frames per second video frame rates, and they both have the same 3840x2160 (4K) video quality, the LG Q70 also counts with a back camera with a way better resolution.
The Microsoft Surface Duo 2 costs a lot more money than the LG Q70, but it's still a convenient choice, because you can get a better phone for that extra money.
