LG Q70 is slightly better than Moto Z2 Play, getting a 77.9 score against 77.4. Although the LG Q70 is notably newer than the Moto Z2 Play, it is much heavier and way thicker. The Moto Z2 Play and LG Q70 feature very similar displays, because although the Moto Z2 Play has a bit smaller screen and a bit worse resolution of 1080 x 1920, it also counts with a just a little better pixel quantity per inch in the display.
LG Q70 and Motorola Moto Z2 Play both count with extremely similar memory capacity to store more games and applications, they have an external memory card slot that holds a maximum of 1,95 TB and the same 64 GB internal storage. Motorola Moto Z2 Play has just a little better performance than LG Q70. They have 8 cpu cores and a 4 GB RAM.
LG Q70 counts with better battery life than Moto Z2 Play, because it has 4000mAh of battery capacity. The LG Q70 captures much better photos and videos than Moto Z2 Play, because although it has a tinier aperture which is not recommended for low light photos, and they both have the same 30 frames per second video frame rates and the same 3840x2160 (4K) video definition, the LG Q70 also counts with a much better resolution camera in the back.
Although LG Q70 is a better device, it is way more expensive than the Moto Z2 Play, and it doesn't have such a good quality/price relation as the Moto Z2 Play. So if you need that extra specs and features, you can buy the LG Q70, but if you don't you can save a couple dollars and buy the Moto Z2 Play, giving up a couple features and specifications.
