The Samsung Galaxy A42 is much better than the LG Q70, with a general score of 87 against 77.9. Samsung Galaxy A42's construction is just a little thicker but just a bit lighter than the LG Q70, and both of them were released with only 6 months difference. Both of these phones include Android operating system, but Samsung Galaxy A42 has the newer 11 version while LG Q70 has Android 10, so it gives you some additional features and enhanced performance.
The Samsung Galaxy A42 features a little faster processing unit than LG Q70. They have a Octa-Core processing unit and a 4 GB RAM memory.
