LG Q70 is a little bit better than the Galaxy Alpha, with a overall score of 77.9 against 76.3. LG Q70 is a a lot heavier and somewhat thicker phone than the Galaxy Alpha. Both phones in this review come with Android OS (Operating System), but the LG Q70 has the older 10 version and Galaxy Alpha has Android 4.4.4.
Samsung Galaxy Alpha features a bit more powerful processing unit than LG Q70, because although it has a lower amount of RAM memory and a lower number of cores , it also counts with an additional GPU. Galaxy Alpha has a bit more vivid screen than LG Q70, although it has a much lower resolution of 1280 x 720, a little inferior pixel amount per screen inch and a way smaller screen.
The LG Q70 shoots better pictures and videos than Galaxy Alpha, and although they both have the same 30 fps video frame rates and the same 3840x2160 (4K) video resolution, the LG Q70 also has a bigger aperture for better captures and video in low light environments and a way better resolution back facing camera.
LG Q70 counts with a much greater memory to store more apps and games than Samsung Galaxy Alpha, because it has an external memory card slot that allows a maximum of 1,95 TB and 32 GB more internal storage capacity. LG Q70 counts with a really longer battery life than Galaxy Alpha, because it has a 4000mAh battery capacity against 1860mAh.
LG Q70 costs a bit more money than Galaxy Alpha, but you can get a better phone for that few extra dollars.
