Comparison review
Samsung Galaxy S5 has a general score of 80.8, which is just a bit better than LG Q70's 77.9 global score. Both phones we are comparing here use Android operating system, but the Samsung Galaxy S5 has the newer 4.4.2 version and LG Q70 has Android 10 version. The Samsung Galaxy S5 body has the same thickness than LG Q70, but it is way lighter.
Galaxy S5 features a little faster CPU than LG Q70, because although it has a lower amount of RAM and an inferior number of cores (but faster), it also counts with an extra graphics processing unit. Samsung Galaxy S5 has a lot better looking screen than LG Q70, because although it has a little lower resolution of 1920 x 1080 pixels and a really smaller display, it also counts with a better pixels number per screen inch.
LG Q70 has a much bigger memory capacity to install applications and games than Galaxy S5, because it has 64 GB internal storage and a slot for SD memory cards that supports a maximum of 1,95 TB. The LG Q70 counts with a much better battery duration than Samsung Galaxy S5, because it has 4000mAh of battery capacity against 2800mAh.
The LG Q70 captures a bit better pictures and videos than Samsung Galaxy S5, because although it has a smaller back-facing camera sensor providing a lower image quality, and they both have the same 30 frames per second video frame rates and the same 3840x2160 video quality, the LG Q70 also counts with a larger aperture for better low light photos and a back facing camera with a much higher resolution.
Galaxy S5 costs a bit more than LG Q70, but it's still a great deal, because you can get a better phone for that extra money.
