Samsung Galaxy XCover 5 has a general score of 78.1, which is a little bit better than LG Q70's 77.9 general score. Samsung Galaxy XCover 5's design is newer and somewhat lighter than LG Q70's, but it is also thicker. Both of these phones have Android operating system, but the Samsung Galaxy XCover 5 has newer 11 version and LG Q70 has Android 10 version, giving you a couple nice extra features.
The LG Q70 features a little bit better display than Galaxy XCover 5, because it has a much higher resolution of 1080 x 2310 pixels, a higher display density and a larger display. LG Q70 counts with more memory capacity to store more games and applications than Galaxy XCover 5, and although they both have exactly the same 64 GB internal memory capacity, the LG Q70 also has a slot for an external memory card that admits a maximum of 1,95 TB.
Galaxy XCover 5's processor is just as good as the CPU in LG Q70, they have the same RAM memory amount and the same number of cores. LG Q70 has longer battery performance than Galaxy XCover 5, because it has a 4000mAh battery capacity. LG Q70 features a much better camera than Galaxy XCover 5, and although they both have a F1.8 aperture, the LG Q70 also has a lot higher (4K) video definition and a back-facing camera with a much higher resolution.
