Xperia 5 II is better than LG Q70, with a score of 87.2 against 77.9. Xperia 5 II's body is lighter and just a little bit thinner than the LG Q70, although they were released only a couple months apart. The Xperia 5 II features a bit better hardware performance than LG Q70, and although they both have a Octa-Core CPU, the Xperia 5 II also has 4 GB more RAM memory.
Xperia 5 II has a little bit better display than LG Q70, because although it has a little smaller display, it also counts with a bit higher 1080 x 2520 resolution and a little greater pixel density. Xperia 5 II features just a bit more storage capacity to store more apps and games than LG Q70, because although it has an external memory card slot that allows up to 1000 GB against 1,95 TB, it also counts with 64 GB more internal storage capacity.
The Sony Xperia 5 II and LG Q70 count with extremely similar batteries duration. Xperia 5 II's camera is very similar to the LG Q70 one, because although the Xperia 5 II has a camera with much less MP resolution and a worse (4K) video definition, it also counts with a lot larger back camera sensor taking more light and vivid colors and a larger aperture.
Although Sony Xperia 5 II is a better device, it costs a lot more than LG Q70, and it doesn't have such a good relation between it's price and quality as the LG Q70.
