Comparison review
The Xperia XZ2 Premium is just a bit better than the LG Q70, with an 82.2 score against 77.9. Even being the best phone in this comparison review, Xperia XZ2 Premium is an older, heavier and a lot thicker phone than LG Q70. Sony Xperia XZ2 Premium counts with an incredibly better display than LG Q70, because although it has a bit smaller display, it also counts with a lot higher 2160 x 3840 resolution and a way better pixels count per inch of display.
Xperia XZ2 Premium has a bit superior CPU than LG Q70, and although they both have a Octa-Core processor, the Xperia XZ2 Premium also has 2 GB more RAM memory. LG Q70 shoots clearer photographs and videos than Sony Xperia XZ2 Premium, because although it has a tinier sensor capturing lower quality videos and photographs, and they both have the same video frame rates, a same size diafragm aperture and the same 3840x2160 video resolution, the LG Q70 also counts with a way more MP camera in the back.
LG Q70 features a much greater memory to store more apps and games than Sony Xperia XZ2 Premium, and although they both have the same internal memory, the LG Q70 also has an external memory card slot that holds up to 1,95 TB. The LG Q70 has just a little better battery duration than Xperia XZ2 Premium, because it has a 13% bigger battery size.
Although Xperia XZ2 Premium is a better device, it is a lot more expensive than the LG Q70, and it doesn't have such a good relation between it's price and quality as the LG Q70. If you are trying to save a few dollars, you can buy LG Q70, and give up a few features and specs, but you will get the most out of your savings.
