Comparison review
The LG Q70 has a score of 77.9, which is slightly better than the Xperia Z5's general score of 77.6. The LG Q70 construction is much newer than the Xperia Z5's, but it is a lot heavier and a bit thicker. Both of these phones have Android operating system, but the LG Q70 has newer 10 version while Xperia Z5 has Android 5.1 version, counting with some nice extra features.
The Sony Xperia Z5 has a little bit better performance than LG Q70, because although it has lesser RAM memory, and they both have a Octa-Core processing unit, the Sony Xperia Z5 also counts with a graphics co-processor. Xperia Z5 has a brighter screen than LG Q70, because although it has a bit smaller display and a bit worse resolution of 1920 x 1080 pixels, it also counts with a just a little more pixels per inch of display.
The LG Q70 features a superior memory capacity to store more games and applications than Xperia Z5, because it has more internal storage and a slot for an external memory card that admits up to 1,95 TB. The LG Q70 shoots slightly better photographs and videos than Sony Xperia Z5, because although it has a tinier camera sensor which offers a lower image and video quality, and they both have the same 30 fps video frame rates, a same size diafragm aperture and the same 3840x2160 video definition, the LG Q70 also counts with a back facing camera with lot more megapixels.
LG Q70 counts with a much longer battery performance than Xperia Z5, because it has a 4000mAh battery size.
