Comparison review
The LG Q70 has a global score of 77.9, which is slightly better than the Xiaomi Redmi Note 9's score of 76.6. Although LG Q70 and the Xiaomi Redmi Note 9 were released only a couple months apart, LG Q70 is a little bit thinner and a bit lighter. Both phones in this review work with the same Android 10 OS (Operating System), so you shouldn't perceive any difference regarding OS features.
The LG Q70 and the Xiaomi Redmi Note 9 have quite similar screens, because although the Xiaomi Redmi Note 9 has a bit lower number of pixels per screen inch, it also counts with a slightly higher 1080 x 2340 resolution and a quite larger display. The LG Q70 features a much greater memory capacity for apps and games than Xiaomi Redmi Note 9, and although they both have exactly the same internal storage capacity, the LG Q70 also has a SD memory card expansion slot that admits up to 1,95 TB.
Xiaomi Redmi Note 9's processor is just as good as the LG Q70 one, and although the Xiaomi Redmi Note 9 has a lower amount of RAM memory, they both have a Octa-Core CPU. The Xiaomi Redmi Note 9 takes clearer photographs and videos than LG Q70, and although they both have the same (Full HD) video quality, a F1.8 diafragm aperture and the same video frame rate, the Xiaomi Redmi Note 9 also has a much larger sensor taking much higher quality pictures and a back facing camera with way more MP.
Xiaomi Redmi Note 9 counts with superior battery lifetime than LG Q70, because it has a 26 percent bigger battery capacity.
Although LG Q70 is a better device, it costs more money than the Xiaomi Redmi Note 9, and it doesn't have such a good quality/price relation as the Xiaomi Redmi Note 9. So if you need that extra features, you can buy the LG Q70, else you can save a couple dollars and buy the Xiaomi Redmi Note 9, letting go a couple specs and features.
