Comparison review
Asus ROG Phone 3 is much better than LG Q8, having a global score of 86.3 against 77.2. The Asus ROG Phone 3 design is incredibly newer than LG Q8's, but it is extremely heavier and thicker. LG Q8 counts with a slightly better looking screen than Asus ROG Phone 3, because although it has a much smaller display and much lower brightness, it also counts with a higher resolution of 1440 x 2560 pixels and a higher pixels amount per inch of screen.
The Asus ROG Phone 3 has a better hardware performance than LG Q8, because it has a higher number of cores and a larger amount of RAM. The Asus ROG Phone 3 has a much better camera than LG Q8, and although they both have the same camera aperture, the Asus ROG Phone 3 also has a back-facing camera with a lot better 64 mega pixels resolution, a lot bigger back camera sensor providing a way higher image quality and a way higher video quality.
The LG Q8 counts with a superior storage for games and applications than Asus ROG Phone 3, because although it has only 32 GB internal storage capacity, it also counts with a slot for an external memory card that admits up to 1,95 TB. The Asus ROG Phone 3 has a much longer battery lifetime than LG Q8, because it has a 6000mAh battery capacity instead of 3000mAh.
