The Asus ZenFone 7 is slightly better than the LG Q8, getting a global score of 83.9 against 77.2. Even though Asus ZenFone 7 is a lot newer than the LG Q8, it's somewhat thicker and extremely heavier. Both of these phones come with Android OS, but Asus ZenFone 7 has an older 11 version while LG Q8 has Android 7.0 Nougat.
LG Q8 has just a bit better looking display than Asus ZenFone 7, because although it has way less brightness and a lot smaller screen, it also counts with a greater screen density and a higher 1440 x 2560 resolution. Asus ZenFone 7 features a little better processing power than LG Q8, because it has a higher number of cores and a larger amount of RAM memory.

Asus ZenFone 7 features a really longer battery duration than LG Q8, because it has a 67 percent more battery capacity.
The Asus ZenFone 7 shoots a lot better pictures and videos than LG Q8, and although they both have a F1.8 aperture, the Asus ZenFone 7 also has a back facing camera with much more mega pixels, a much better video quality and a much larger back camera sensor providing a much better image quality.
