Comparison review

HTC One M9 has an overall score of 77.7, which is a little bit better than the LG Q8's 77.2 general score. Even being the best in this comparison review, HTC One M9 is an a lot older, just a little bit heavier and somewhat thicker phone than the LG Q8. Both phones in our current comparison come with Android OS (Operating System), but the HTC One M9 has older 5.0 version and LG Q8 has Android 7.0 Nougat.

The HTC One M9 features a little more vivid display than LG Q8, although it has a bit less pixels per inch of display, a quite smaller display and a lot lower resolution of 1920 x 1080px. The HTC One M9 has a more powerful CPU than LG Q8, because although it has 1 GB less RAM memory, it also counts with a graphics processor, a 64-bit processor and more cores.

The LG Q8 has a much bigger storage capacity for applications, games, photos and videos than HTC One M9, and although they both have the same 32 GB internal memory, the LG Q8 also has a SD memory slot that supports up to 1,95 TB. The LG Q8 features a bit better battery duration than HTC One M9, because it has a 6 percent larger battery capacity.

The HTC One M9 shoots just a bit better pictures and videos than LG Q8, because although it has a smaller camera aperture which is not recommended for capturing pictures or video in low-light situations, and they both have the same video frame rate and the same 3840x2160 video quality, the HTC One M9 also counts with a back facing camera with a better 20 MP resolution and a bigger back-facing camera sensor taking higher quality videos and pictures.
