Comparison review
The Huawei Mate 9 Pro has a general score of 78.7, which is a little bit better than the LG Q8's score of 77.2. Both of these devices come with Android OS, but Huawei Mate 9 Pro has a more recent 8.0 Oreo version and LG Q8 has Android 7.0 Nougat, so it gives you some extra features. The Huawei Mate 9 Pro construction is a little bit thinner but somewhat heavier than LG Q8, and both were released with only a couple months difference.
LG Q8 features just a bit better display than Huawei Mate 9 Pro, because although it has a bit smaller screen, and they both have exactly the same resolution of 1440 x 2560, the LG Q8 also counts with a quite higher amount of pixels per screen inch. The LG Q8 features a much greater storage for applications and games than Huawei Mate 9 Pro, because although it has 0 less internal memory, it also counts with a SD memory card expansion slot that supports up to 1,95 TB.
The Huawei Mate 9 Pro counts with a bit better performance than LG Q8, because it has a greater number of cores and a greater amount of RAM memory. Huawei Mate 9 Pro has superior battery duration than LG Q8, because it has a 33 percent larger battery capacity. The LG Q8 shoots a little bit better videos and photos than Huawei Mate 9 Pro, and although they both have the same 3840x2160 video quality and the same 30 frames per second video frame rates, the LG Q8 also has a camera in the back with much more MP, a bigger aperture to take better photography and video in low-light situations and a larger sensor which provides a better photo and video quality.
