LG Q8 has an overall score of 77.2, which is a little bit better than the Huawei nova 3's score of 76.3. Both devices in this review come with Android OS, but the LG Q8 has older 7.0 Nougat version and Huawei nova 3 has Android 8.1 Oreo. Even though LG Q8 is older and a bit thicker than Huawei nova 3, it's body is still lighter.
The Huawei nova 3 features a bit better hardware performance than LG Q8, because it has a greater amount of RAM and a greater number of faster cores. LG Q8 counts with a better display than Huawei nova 3, because although it has a quite smaller screen, it also counts with a better pixels density and a higher resolution of 1440 x 2560px.
The Huawei nova 3 counts with a little bit better memory capacity for games and applications than LG Q8, because although it has a SD memory card expansion slot that holds a maximum of 256 GB against 1,95 TB, it also counts with 128 GB internal memory. The Huawei nova 3 features superior battery duration than LG Q8, because it has 3750mAh of battery capacity against 3000mAh.
LG Q8 captures clearer photographs and videos than Huawei nova 3. Both have the same resolution back-facing camera, the same video frame rate, the same camera aperture and the same video definition.
