LG Q8 has a score of 77.2, which is slightly better than LG G3's 76.4 overall score. These phones have Android OS (Operating System), but the LG Q8 has newer 7.0 Nougat version and LG G3 has Android 5.0. The LG Q8 construction is a lot newer, a little lighter and somewhat thinner than LG G3. The LG G3 has a bit sharper screen than LG Q8, because although it has a bit darker display and a just a bit less pixels per inch of screen, and they both have an equal resolution of 2560 x 1440px, the LG G3 also counts with a quite larger display.

LG Q8 has a way bigger storage to store more games and applications than LG G3, and although they both have the same 32 GB internal storage capacity, the LG Q8 also has a slot for an SD memory card that admits up to 1,95 TB. The LG G3 counts with a bit better processing unit than LG Q8, because although it has a smaller amount of RAM memory, and they both have a Quad-Core CPU, the LG G3 also counts with an extra graphics processor.

The LG G3's battery duration is very similar to the battery lifetime in LG Q8. The LG Q8 captures slightly better photos and videos than LG G3, and although they both have the same 3840x2160 (4K) video definition and the same video frame rates, the LG Q8 also has a way bigger camera aperture to take better images and videos in low light situations, a bigger sensor and a back facing camera with a higher resolution.
