Comparison review
LG G8 ThinQ is a bit better than the LG Q8, getting an 84.3 score against 77.2. Both phones we compare here use Android OS (Operating System), but the LG G8 ThinQ has the newer 9.0 Pie version and LG Q8 has Android 7.0 Nougat version. The LG G8 ThinQ design is newer than LG Q8's, but it is just a bit thicker and somewhat heavier.
The LG G8 ThinQ counts with a bit sharper display than LG Q8, because although it has a just a bit lower quantity of pixels per inch in the display, it also counts with a larger display, a bit more brightness and a slightly better resolution of 1440 x 3120. LG G8 ThinQ features a little faster CPU than LG Q8, because it has a greater amount of RAM and more cpu cores.
LG G8 ThinQ shoots clearer photos and videos than LG Q8, because although it has a lot lower resolution camera in the back and a lower 3840x2160 video resolution, and they both have a 0.38 inches sensor, the LG G8 ThinQ also counts with a larger aperture. LG G8 ThinQ has a way bigger storage to install games and applications than LG Q8, and although they both have an external memory card slot that admits a maximum of 1,95 TB, the LG G8 ThinQ also has 128 GB internal storage.
LG G8 ThinQ has just a little bit longer battery lifetime than LG Q8, because it has 3500mAh of battery capacity against 3000mAh.
