Comparison review

LG V30S ThinQ is a little bit better than LG Q8, getting a overall score of 82.5 against 77.2. Both phones in our current comparison include Android operating system, but LG V30S ThinQ has a more recent 8.0 Oreo version while LG Q8 has Android 7.0 Nougat version, so it provides lots of additional features. Even though the LG V30S ThinQ and LG Q8 were only released 8 months apart, the LG V30S ThinQ body is a little bit thinner but just a bit heavier than LG Q8.

The LG V30S ThinQ counts with a bit more powerful processor than LG Q8, because it has a higher number of cores and 2 GB more RAM memory. LG Q8 features a little more vivid display than LG V30S ThinQ, because although it has a quite smaller screen and a bit lower 1440 x 2560 pixels resolution, it also counts with a little greater pixels count per inch of screen.

The LG V30S ThinQ features a lot bigger storage for applications, games, photos and videos than LG Q8, and although they both have an external SD slot that admits up to 1,95 TB, the LG V30S ThinQ also has 128 GB internal storage. The LG Q8 shoots slightly better photographs and videos than LG V30S ThinQ, because although it has a smaller camera aperture, and they both have the same video frame rate, the same video resolution and a back-facing camera with a 16 mega pixels, the LG Q8 also counts with a larger sensor providing a higher image quality.

The LG V30S ThinQ counts with just a little bit longer battery duration than LG Q8, because it has a 10% more battery size.
