Comparison review
Microsoft Surface Duo is slightly better than LG Q8, getting a global score of 78.8 against 77.2. Microsoft Surface Duo's body is much newer and way thinner, but also a lot heavier than LG Q8. Both of these devices include Android OS (operating system), but Microsoft Surface Duo has the previous 10 version while LG Q8 has Android 7.0 Nougat.
Microsoft Surface Duo has just a bit better hardware performance than LG Q8, because it has a larger amount of RAM and a larger number of cores. LG Q8 counts with a more vivid display than Microsoft Surface Duo, because although it has a much smaller screen and a little worse 1440 x 2560 resolution, it also counts with a greater pixel amount in each inch of display.

Microsoft Surface Duo counts with superior battery duration than LG Q8, because it has 3577mAh of battery capacity instead of 3000mAh.
