Comparison review
The LG Q8 is a little bit better than the Motorola Moto Z3 Play, with a global score of 77.2 against 76.3. The LG Q8 body is a bit lighter than Motorola Moto Z3 Play, although it is thicker and was released only 11 months before. Moto Z3 Play's processor is just as good as the LG Q8 one, and although the Moto Z3 Play has a larger number of cores , they both have a 4 GB RAM memory.
The LG Q8 has a sharper display than Motorola Moto Z3 Play, because although it has a little bit smaller display, it also counts with a higher amount of pixels per inch of screen and a higher 1440 x 2560px resolution. Motorola Moto Z3 Play features a better memory to store more games and applications than LG Q8, and although they both have a slot for an external memory card that allows up to 1,95 TB, the Motorola Moto Z3 Play also has 32 GB more internal storage.
The LG Q8 shoots clearer videos and photos than Motorola Moto Z3 Play, because although it has a smaller camera sensor giving a worse image quality and a smaller aperture which is not recommended for shooting photos and videos in poorly lited environments, and they both have the same 3840x2160 (4K) video resolution and the same video frame rates, the LG Q8 also counts with a lot more mega pixels camera.
Motorola Moto Z3 Play and LG Q8 both count with similar batteries duration.
