Comparison review
The LG Q8 has a score of 77.2, which is slightly better than the Galaxy Alpha's general score of 76.3. Despite being the best we compare here, LG Q8's construction is thicker and noticeably heavier than the Galaxy Alpha. Both of these phones include Android OS, but the LG Q8 has the newer 7.0 Nougat version while Galaxy Alpha has Android 4.4.4 version, counting with a couple additional features.
The Samsung Galaxy Alpha features a bit faster processor than LG Q8, because although it has a smaller amount of RAM memory, and they both have 4 cores, the Samsung Galaxy Alpha also counts with an additional graphics co-processor. The LG Q8 has a slightly better display than Samsung Galaxy Alpha, because it has a little bit bigger screen, a much better quantity of pixels per inch of display and a much better 1440 x 2560 resolution.
LG Q8 has a much greater memory capacity to store more games and applications than Galaxy Alpha, and although they both have the same 32 GB internal storage, the LG Q8 also has an external SD slot that supports up to 1,95 TB. The LG Q8 features a much longer battery life than Galaxy Alpha, because it has 3000mAh of battery capacity instead of 1860mAh.
LG Q8 has a slightly better camera than Samsung Galaxy Alpha, and although they both have the same video definition and the same 30 frames per second video frame rate, the LG Q8 also has a camera in the back with way more mega pixels and a bigger aperture to capture better low light photos and video.
