The Samsung Galaxy M21 has a general score of 84.1, which is slightly better than LG Q8's score of 77.2. Samsung Galaxy M21's construction is noticeably newer, but thicker and incredibly heavier than LG Q8. Both phones in this review include Android OS (Operating System), but the Samsung Galaxy M21 has an older 11 version while LG Q8 has Android 7.0 Nougat.

Galaxy M21 counts with a little faster CPU than LG Q8, and although they both have a 4 GB RAM, the Galaxy M21 also has a greater number of cores. LG Q8 counts with a little sharper screen than Galaxy M21, because although it has a bit smaller display, it also counts with a higher screen pixels density, a little brighter screen and a higher 1440 x 2560px resolution.

LG Q8 features just a bit more memory for applications, games, photos and videos than Samsung Galaxy M21, because although it has just 32 GB internal storage capacity, it also counts with an external memory slot that holds a maximum of 1,95 TB. Samsung Galaxy M21 takes much better photos and videos than LG Q8, because although it has a tinier diafragm aperture which is not so good for shooting pictures and/or video in low light situations, and they both have the same 3840x2160 (4K) video definition and the same video frame rates, the Samsung Galaxy M21 also counts with a back-facing camera with lot more mega-pixels and a much bigger sensor providing a much higher image quality.

The Samsung Galaxy M21 features a way better battery duration than LG Q8, because it has a 6000mAh battery capacity against 3000mAh.
