Comparison review

Samsung Galaxy Note 4 is slightly better than LG Q8, having an 81.6 score against 77.2. Both phones in our current comparison come with Android operating system, but Samsung Galaxy Note 4 has older 5.0 version and LG Q8 has Android 7.0 Nougat version. Samsung Galaxy Note 4 is a older, heavier and a bit thicker cellphone than LG Q8.

Galaxy Note 4 features a bit sharper screen than LG Q8, because although it has a just a little lower pixel density, and they both have the same exact 2560 x 1440 resolution, the Galaxy Note 4 also counts with a little bit bigger screen. Galaxy Note 4 has a little faster CPU than LG Q8, because although it has a smaller amount of RAM, and they both have the same number of cores, the Galaxy Note 4 also counts with a graphics co-processor.

The LG Q8 and the Galaxy Note 4 both count with similar cameras, and although the Galaxy Note 4 has a smaller camera aperture which is not favorable for taking pictures and videos in low light situations, they both have a same size back camera sensor, the same (4K) video quality, a same resolution back-facing camera and the same video frame rates.

The LG Q8 has a much bigger memory capacity to store more apps and games than Samsung Galaxy Note 4, and although they both have exactly the same 32 GB internal storage, the LG Q8 also has a slot for SD memory cards that holds up to 1,95 TB. Galaxy Note 4 counts with a little better battery life than LG Q8, because it has a 7% bigger battery size.
