The Galaxy Note7 is slightly better than LG Q8, getting a 79.5 score against 77.2. The Galaxy Note7 design has the same thickness than the LG Q8, but it is somewhat heavier. LG Q8 features a little more vivid display than Galaxy Note7, because although it has a little bit smaller display, and they both have the same resolution of 1440 x 2560, the LG Q8 also counts with a little bit higher amount of pixels in each inch of screen.
Galaxy Note7 features a CPU that is very similar to the LG Q8 one, both of them have 4 GB of RAM and the same number of cores. LG Q8 has a better memory for applications and games than Samsung Galaxy Note7, because although it has just 32 GB internal memory capacity, it also counts with a SD memory card expansion slot that admits a maximum of 1,95 TB.
LG Q8 takes slightly better videos and photos than Samsung Galaxy Note7, because although it has a tinier diafragm aperture which is worse for low-light captures and video and a smaller back-facing camera sensor shooting lower quality photos, and they both have the same 30 frames per second video frame rates and the same 3840x2160 video resolution, the LG Q8 also counts with a camera in the back with a much better resolution.
Galaxy Note7 features a bit better battery lifetime than LG Q8, because it has 3500mAh of battery capacity against 3000mAh.
