The Samsung Galaxy S6 has an overall score of 87.4, which is much better than LG Q8's 77.2 global score. Both devices in this review come with Android OS, but Samsung Galaxy S6 has an older 5.0 version and LG Q8 has Android 7.0 Nougat. The Samsung Galaxy S6 is an notably older cellphone than LG Q8, but it is somewhat thinner and just a little bit lighter anyway.

Galaxy S6 features a superior processor than LG Q8, because although it has a smaller amount of RAM memory, it also counts with a 64-bit processing unit, an additional GPU and a larger number of cores (but slower). Galaxy S6 features a bit sharper screen than LG Q8, because although it has a little bit smaller screen, and they both have the same exact 2560 x 1440 resolution, the Galaxy S6 also counts with a just a bit more pixels per inch in the screen.

LG Q8 features a lot bigger storage capacity to install applications and games than Galaxy S6, because although it has less internal memory, it also counts with a slot for an SD memory card that supports up to 1,95 TB. LG Q8 features a little longer battery performance than Galaxy S6, because it has 3000mAh of battery capacity.

The Samsung Galaxy S6 has a camera that's very similar to the LG Q8 one, and although the Samsung Galaxy S6 has a tinier diafragm aperture which is not good for capturing photos or video in low-light situations, they both have the same video frame rate, the same video quality, a 0.38 inches back camera sensor and a same resolution back camera.
