Comparison review

Samsung Galaxy S7 edge is slightly better than the LG Q8, having a 78.1 score against 77.2. Samsung Galaxy S7 edge is an older and just a little bit heavier cellphone than LG Q8, but Samsung was able to make it a bit thinner anyway. These phones come with Android operating system, but the Samsung Galaxy S7 edge has newer 8.0 Oreo version while LG Q8 has Android 7.0 Nougat version, counting with some nice extra features.

LG Q8 has a little bit better looking screen than Galaxy S7 edge, because although it has a little smaller display, and they both have the same 1440 x 2560 pixels resolution, the LG Q8 also counts with a bit greater pixel density. The LG Q8 has much more storage capacity to install applications and games or saving photos and videos than Galaxy S7 edge, and although they both have exactly the same internal storage capacity, the LG Q8 also has a slot for external memory cards that holds a maximum of 1,95 TB.

Galaxy S7 edge features just a little better hardware performance than LG Q8. Both have 4 CPU cores and 4 GB of RAM memory. The LG Q8 shoots just a bit better pictures and videos than Galaxy S7 edge, because although it has a smaller sensor taking lower quality videos and photos and a tinier camera aperture which is not favorable for low light captures, and they both have the same 30 frames per second video frame rate and the same 3840x2160 (4K) video definition, the LG Q8 also counts with a camera in the back with way more mega pixels.

Galaxy S7 edge features superior battery lifetime than LG Q8, because it has 3600mAh of battery capacity instead of 3000mAh.
