Comparison review
Xperia XZ Premium is just a bit better than the LG Q8, getting a global score of 79.8 against 77.2. Xperia XZ Premium's design has the same thickness than the LG Q8, but it is much heavier. Xperia XZ Premium features a much better looking screen than LG Q8, because it has a higher pixel density, a much better resolution of 2160 x 3840px, more screen brightness and a bit larger screen.
LG Q8 counts with a better storage for applications and games than Xperia XZ Premium, because although it has 0 less internal memory capacity, it also counts with a slot for an external memory card that supports a maximum of 1,95 TB. The Xperia XZ Premium features a little faster processing unit than LG Q8, and although they both have a 4 GB RAM, the Xperia XZ Premium also has more CPU cores.
Xperia XZ Premium shoots clearer videos and photos than LG Q8, because although it has a tinier aperture which is not nice for taking photos or videos in poorly lited environments, and they both have the same 3840x2160 video resolution and the same 30 frames per second video frame rate, the Xperia XZ Premium also counts with a more mega-pixels back camera and a bigger camera sensor taking higher quality photographs.
