Comparison review
The Xperia XZ2 Compact is a bit better than the LG Q8, having a general score of 79 against 77.2. Both of these phones use Android OS, but the Xperia XZ2 Compact has a more recent 8.0 Oreo version while LG Q8 has Android 7.0 Nougat, so it gives some nice extra features and increased performance. The Xperia XZ2 Compact construction is somewhat heavier and way thicker than the LG Q8.
Xperia XZ2 Compact has a little bit better processing power than LG Q8, and although they both have 4 GB of RAM, the Xperia XZ2 Compact also has more cpu cores. The LG Q8 counts with a little sharper screen than Xperia XZ2 Compact, because although it has much less brightness, it also counts with a better 1440 x 2560 pixels resolution, a just a bit higher pixel number per screen inch and a bit bigger screen.
The Sony Xperia XZ2 Compact shoots a little bit better pictures and videos than LG Q8, because although it has a tinier aperture which is worse for capturing pictures and videos in low-light situations, and they both have the same 3840x2160 (4K) video quality, the Sony Xperia XZ2 Compact also counts with better video frame rate, a bigger sensor providing a higher image quality and a back camera with more megapixels.
The LG Q8 has a bigger storage capacity for applications and games than Xperia XZ2 Compact, because although it has only 32 GB internal storage, it also counts with a SD memory card expansion slot that allows up to 1,95 TB. The LG Q8 features just a little better battery performance than Xperia XZ2 Compact, because it has 3000mAh of battery capacity.
