Sony Xperia Z5 Premium has an overall score of 79.8, which is just a bit better than the LG Q8's overall score of 77.2. Sony Xperia Z5 Premium is a somewhat heavier cellphone than LG Q8, but both of them are equally thin. These phones use Android OS, but the Sony Xperia Z5 Premium has the previous 5.1 version while LG Q8 has Android 7.0 Nougat.

Xperia Z5 Premium features a bit faster processing unit than LG Q8, because although it has a smaller amount of RAM memory, it also counts with more CPU cores and an extra GPU. Sony Xperia Z5 Premium counts with just a little bit longer battery lifetime than LG Q8, because it has a 14 percent greater battery capacity.
