Comparison review
Sony Xperia Z5 Premium has an overall score of 79.8, which is just a bit better than the LG Q8's overall score of 77.2. Sony Xperia Z5 Premium is a somewhat heavier cellphone than LG Q8, but both of them are equally thin. These phones use Android OS, but the Sony Xperia Z5 Premium has the previous 5.1 version while LG Q8 has Android 7.0 Nougat.
Xperia Z5 Premium features a bit faster processing unit than LG Q8, because although it has a smaller amount of RAM memory, it also counts with more CPU cores and an extra GPU. Xperia Z5 Premium has a brighter display than LG Q8, because it has a lot better resolution of 3840 x 2160, a higher screen pixel density and a quite bigger screen.
Sony Xperia Z5 Premium takes a bit better photographs and videos than LG Q8, and although they both have the same 30 fps video frame rates, the same camera aperture and the same 3840x2160 (4K) video quality, the Sony Xperia Z5 Premium also has a larger sensor providing a better image quality and a back-facing camera with much more megapixels.
LG Q8 counts with a very superior storage capacity for apps and games than Sony Xperia Z5 Premium, and although they both have exactly the same 32 GB internal storage, the LG Q8 also has a SD extension slot that holds up to 1,95 TB. Sony Xperia Z5 Premium counts with just a little bit longer battery lifetime than LG Q8, because it has a 14 percent greater battery capacity.
