Comparison review
Xiaomi Mi 8 Lite is a little bit better than LG Q8, getting a score of 77.7 against 77.2. Xiaomi Mi 8 Lite's construction is somewhat heavier but just a little bit thinner than LG Q8. Both phones we are comparing come with Android OS (operating system), but Xiaomi Mi 8 Lite has the newer 8.1 Oreo version and LG Q8 has Android 7.0 Nougat, so it provides the user lots of additional features and a performance increase.
Xiaomi Mi 8 Lite features a bit faster CPU than LG Q8, because it has more RAM and a larger number of cores. The LG Q8 counts with a better screen than Xiaomi Mi 8 Lite, because although it has a little smaller screen, it also counts with a higher 1440 x 2560 pixels resolution and a better pixel quantity per screen inch.
The LG Q8 shoots a little bit better pictures and videos than Xiaomi Mi 8 Lite, because although it has a smaller back camera sensor shooting worse quality videos and photos, and they both have the same (4K) video resolution and the same 30 fps video frame rates, the LG Q8 also counts with a lot better resolution camera and a bigger diafragm aperture to take better low light photography.
The LG Q8 counts with a much bigger storage capacity to install applications and games or saving photos and videos than Xiaomi Mi 8 Lite, because although it has just 32 GB internal storage, it also counts with a slot for external memory cards that allows up to 1,95 TB. The Xiaomi Mi 8 Lite counts with just a little bit longer battery performance than LG Q8, because it has 3350mAh of battery capacity against 3000mAh.
